New Whiteboard Video Released
Private equity has received significant attention as a result of the presidential election. Yet confusion remains about the private equity industry, its business model and its contribution to the U.S. economy.
To help educate our audiences about private equity and how it works, the Private Equity Growth Capital Council has released a new whiteboard video to answer the question, “What is Private Equity?”
At its core, private equity firms pool funds from or retool. Their goal is to improve the companies they buy over time and then sell them at a profit to generate good investment returns to these investors. At the end of the day, the American economy benefits, with more competitive, successful businesses in communities across the country.
